  2. Rohit Mukherjee says:

We have started this program a little late, however we have to do everything to ensure that we SAVE TIGERS. The most important aspect is to understand to save these numbers and subsequently increase them. We should take help of WWF;s to understand the technical stuffs related to it. We can take the experience of foreign doctors who are specialized in Tigers. We have started this national initiative however we have to be professional to solve the problem. The present situation doesn’t allow us to have a prolonged discussion. Its high time that we come to a conclusion soon to chalk out an action plan.

I will also request people to come on road, we being normal individual would do what so ever it is necessary to save our NATIONAL ANIMAL.
    JAI HIND!!!

I am a ardent lover of animals. I used to think why did all the dinosaurs die…I was explained by someone that man was coming into existence and both man and dinasaurs cannot live together. What has the man one….well They have killed more than they have saved. Tigers, Elephants etc. you name it and the animal is on the list. I really pray to God to give us compassion towards he animals not made by us but by GOD himself. Shame on these ministers. They are eating the money that is being paid by us via TAX. Please save these beautiful creatures. This can only be done via education and knowledge of the people living in remote areas. It has to be explained o them that tigers are not heir enemies but are fighting with he most selfish enemy themselvs…MAN.

Lets all pledge to save these animals or else this beautiful planet will die a slow death as we have already starting digging our own graves.

May God make our mission successful and may we be able to save these animals.

    Amen to hat.

My daughter cries everytime she sees this cub’s ad on the television. A small girl can understand their apathy and show compassion why can’t we all?

Blaming may not bring very useful results but if we show solidarity towards this cause then authorities will have to take an action.

  13. mustafakamal says:

since my child hood my father was try to aware of that to us that every man, animal bird tree playing a vital role to retain a ecological balance and the tiger was always the king of the jungle the tiger roar is enough to tell the other animal that tiger is the king of jungle .? but the whole synario is been changed from its initial stage now the tiger roar is very much dissapered from the jungle as the the tiger it self ? The man comes in the picture and rule over the untamed species and ever is likely to be harm full or dangerous comes under the indengered species or lost his kind . The tiger is one of these untamed animal as we know it comes in indangered species ?

The man is the only preditor or you can say anemey of that animal? The old mithologies says tiger bones have some sort of vital partical which help to cure from any of the diseases but the all are fake and there is know any kind of power in the tiger bones but so many of the tigers were killed for the bones. the wwf and project tiger help the tiger species to come over the present synario and increas his numbers?

The major reason for falure of protecting the tigers is know budy want know the place of tigers in the jungle ? From the governemnt side no buddy is asking for that why this kind of killing is going on till now.? The things which really we have to tell to the poachers of that tigers once that the tigers are finished what they going to do killing of other animal ? This is the time we have to take the right step to protect the tigers .

if we havent remove the present situation then there is know tigers will remain in the jungle and then what we show to over upcoming genration the photographs of wild tiger so will have to take the initiative to come over the present situation and the help these campaign to serve this animal breed .

  14. thwi says:

  16. jatin Shah says:

    Hi,
To start with poaching should be made a non bailable offence leading to maximum punishment of life imprison. This shall create fear among the
poachers who have often got away easily in legal loop holes.

  17. Rajendra says:

Tiger Hunting was a symbol of status in olden days for royal families . Why can’t royal families take initial step to save them by getting the new born tiger to their home with government permission instead of gettig a dog or a cat and create history by taking its responsibility and again make it a symbol of their status .

  18. Vinod Singh says:

Dear Friends, I m really feeling good that a company has taken a initiative to fight for this right cause…..However we must would have thoughted this well before..but it is never late….. Governent should now make a progress toward a goal.. we have to give this as much importance as the inflation… I still feel that media is not taking enough initiative in this foray…If we still not act on this, we will be ending up loosing our national heritage… Lets help each other where and how we can contribute our little… Lets start doing campaigns in our locality/local areas.. which could gather attention of every age group, and will be resulting good….

  19. Amar Shah says:

They are eating the money that is being paid by us via TAX. Please save these beautiful creatures. This can only be done via education and knowledge of the people living in remote areas.A proposal was created in New Delhi GoI. The high-level meeting held by senior officials of the department reviewed the status of the reserve on Thursday. “Objections have been raised against certain parts of the plan but it would be rectified soon”, said sources.

  23. anuja says:

tigers are being poached in india and their skin and body parts are traded across tibet and china… how can this trade take place across borders without the knowledge of the indian border forces or forest rangers… there must be many loopholes in this attempt to save tigers…v need to identify them…people plz cum forward with any suggestions or recommendations…do ur part !!!…. treat every animal with respect…they look fascinating enough in the jungles and not on ur walls or carpet rugs or as leather jackets…do not mistreat animals in zoos…most of the animals in indian zoos are in pathetic conditions anyways…encourage afforestation….. u’d be surprised to know how much cutting of trees affect the entire ecology…plant more trees….also encourage ur kids, neighbours and friends to do so….and remember the nature has provided us with plenty and we as ‘the highly intellectual and efficient living organisms’ should care for all other organisms inhabiting this planet ….!!

  24. Bhavya says:

first of all kill all the poachers and hunters..
grab there guns and bury them.
    then we’ll ROARRRR
    AND SAVE OUR TIGERS!!!

first kill those stupid hunters and poachers..
hang them and bury their gunss
we are ready to roar and
    SAVE OUR TIGERSSS!!!!

  26. Avik mukherjee says:

I have a tiger skin for sale, with prices starting at Rs 30000 and if anyone is interested then just email me at /edit/. I once published this ad and believe me or not I got 36 emails. I replied by stating how wrong it is to buy a tiger skin and a photo of a cub. I just dont know why the people are so damn interested in the skins of such beautiful animals. And if I could do this at the age of 14 why cant the forest ministers do anything with their ingenious minds and vision.

“”JUST MAKE THE PEOPLE AWARE OF THE DANGER AND PLEASE PAY THE FOREST GUARDS A LITTLE MORE SO THEY AT LEAST DON’T ASSIST THE POACHERS AND DO THEIR JOB SINCERELY”"
THIS IS THE REQUEST OF A 14 YEAR OLD

  27. Poornima says:

I am sure there are enough NGO and other Wildlife enthusiasts who are more then willing to come to India and work on this project but guess they are required to go to so many procedures, restrictions, approvals, lead time because of which one gives up and finally nothing happens and government continues hiring some local forest officers who because of low wage/ lack on Infrastructure(moving within the forest) , Accomodation at such DEPUTATIONS, they will finally make their money tying up with some local gundaa and sell animal skinss!!! Shame on the system which governs and PEOPLE WHO ARE WATCHING IT!!!! ONE WILL NEVER WITNESS ANY KIND OF SITUATION IN ANY OTHER COUNTRY…..there could be extinction of animals in other countries but they shall not be due to lack of funds, projects or people to take care…..Here in INDIA, due to corruption at all levels, survival is the toughest not only for TIGER but for common man as well !!!

IF PEOPLE WERE TO COME FORWARD AND TAKE UP SUCH INITIATIVES WHT IS THE ROLE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY, ENVIRONMENT AND ECOLOGY DOING????? IF THEY DO NOT HAVE THE FUNDS TO TAKE UP WORK WHY IS IT THAT, IT WAS NOT ESCALATED AT THE RIGHT TIME? OR IS IT DESPITE ESCALATION, SO FAR NOTING HAS HAPPENED??????? Do we have answers????

IF my ABOVE QUESTION IS UNANSWERED, WHAT IS THE GAURANTEEE THAT THE FUND COLLECTED WILL BE UTILISED IN APPROPRIATE MANNER … I don’t see any roadmap of this project after collection fo the funds either!!!! can someone help me…..Please speak in media or an article for building the trust and then move ahead……

Its difficult to believe that Indian Government is lacking funds or may be its just protrayed so and it’s high time we wake up and so something against the system rather then one of such project initiatives liket these…… Till the root cause is not targetted and eradicated, it is not possible to nip at the bud issues like these we are facing today….

I am issuing a gauranteee to get along with me a group of 100 people who can contribute a sum every year to this Organization working to sdave TIGER and ready to publish results!!!!!

IF the governement is really serious, let them change /Bend rules and allow such enthusiasts to work on such project and help save the TIGER…There should be no local pressure, world class Infrastructure, good accomodation for forest Officers, Special armed forces to guard the forest area and much more…. and complete freedom would need to be given to THE INDIVIDUAL /ORGANIZATION who take this up!!! Are we ready for it???

IF this is not done, let us not crib but be prepared to see pictures of TIGER only in our textbooks …..

    Jaihind.

  28. Harshini says:

    Hi all
I love tigers. Our government should take strict and very strict action against poaching. Govt should use latest technologies used to monitor the tigers and help them immediately if it is diseased. Modern technologies like GPS, helicopters should be used for the purpose.

  29. Dipin says:

India is home to the world’s largest population of tigers in the wild.[76] According to the World Wildlife Fund, of the 3,500 tigers around the world, 1,400 are found in IndiaIn a poll conducted by Animal Planet, the tiger was voted the world’s favourite animal, narrowly beating the dog. More than 50,000 viewers from 73 countries voted in the poll. Tigers received 21% of the vote, dogs 20%, dolphins 13%, horses 10%, lions 9%, snakes 8%, followed by elephants, chimpanzees, orangutans and whales.Kindly takes initiatives to save out tigers……

  31. shivashish says:

Hey, we all r ready now 2 save our national animal TIGER….

  32. Vinay says:

We can not save the Tigers without followings….

    1. Save Jungles, Grass Land. Population growth in India is out of hand people needs more and more land for cultivation. Forest lands are going down.

    2. Provide alternate for wood. Most of the people staying near Jungle cut the tree for fuel. Provide them GAS connections free. They should not cut trees.

    3. Relocate people staying in side reserves. Poaching is happening because of people staying inside the forest. These people help poachers to find the Tigers.

    4. Create Job opportunities for people staying around forest. Here involvement of NGO is necessary.

    5. Develop Tiger Tourism. When people visit these Tiger Parks people in that area gets employment.

    6. Immediate Compensation for farmers. Farmer around forest loses there crops due to forest animals coming out of park. Many cases Tiger kill their cattle’s. Immediate and enough compensation is necessary. GOVT has compensation policy but implementation is very bad. NGO can get involved here and fund such cases.

    7. Strong and Fast Legal Action against people who does poaching. We should able to prosecute these people in fast track court in 7 days. People like SALMAN KHAN who killed black bug is free. He should be in jail at list for 15 years.

    Vinay Ambardekar

  33. saachi jain says:

we should do something that can encourage the hunters to stop killing and let the tigers be free to do anything and go anywhere they want……………………………………..

  34. swati shukla says:

The upcoming generation should know about the tigers, should not read only in the textbooks like a history. I will also request people to come on road, we being normal individual would do what so ever it is necessary to save our NATIONAL ANIMAL.Stop the hunters from doing hunting…… AND PROTECT OUR TIGERS AND JUNGLES..

  37. Nitish says:

An initiative like this needs to be applauded but i hope with all the support coming in , Aircel is able to take the voice of all concerned about this impending calamity to the right “ears” of the government and try and get stringent punishment laws imposed on poaching of tigers. .. maybe even death sentence as the crime definitely falls in the rarest of the rare crimes given that if it goes on we may not have any tigers left in our heritage !

    save the tigers !!

  38. hello…….indians i just want to say this is our last chance to get our pride back, come on speak up, this is the chance to prove our humanism……………..just one oppourtunity……thanks i will be right back

    we doesnt everybody roar together
together as people concerned for our national heritage
because i dont want to tell my kids like once upon a time there lived a magnificient creature called tiger

  41. Abhilash Saraf says:

Hi….this is Abhilash…we do a lot of charity…but do we ever thought where is it going.??????
Tigers…..our national animal….the symbol of Indian pride n glory….only 1411 tigers are left in India…..it is not always about stop hunting tigers…but it about thinking where is it all coming from????
If we just make change in our daily habits….it can help too….the no. of tigers is not decreasing b’coz of hunting….but also b’coz we’re occupying there part of forest to make concrete jungles…..The real home of our tigers are real jungles not concrete jungles!!!!!!
This is the time when we should start supporting the cause by recycling the paper n plastics…planting more trees…try not to destroy forests for making our homes…..!!!!!!!!!!

n remember…..never wait for the government to act…b’coz we are the government….we hve to get up n do our part….

get up….stand for the mission….b’coz EVERY BIT COUNTS!!!!!!!!!

  42. Shailendra says:

I would like to appeal to all of you that we should protect our forest first than we can think of protecting our national animal Tiger. Now the time has come to take strict action against depletion of forests because these animals need them and the Government of India should also make strict law against the killing of this beautiful animal

  43. anuj says:

we all are brothers becase our mother is one “EARTH” tiger is also son of earth so why we don’t treat them as our brothers ………

    save the tigers

    throw the gun
and prove to be earth’s son

  44. Abhijeet Guru says:

There are three breeds of Tiger in the world.. The Siberian Tiger (found in Russia), The Sumatran Tiger (found in Sumatra) and The Royal Bengal Tiger (found in India) which is the largest of the three breeds and envied upon by other countries as it took its home in our country. What we gave it in return is death and a total ignorance over the fact.

You will be astonished to know how Russia and Sumatra have taken drastic steps to safeguard and breed the tigers in their countries. Its high time that we stand for the cause and save our NATIONAL animal.

Poachers should be given a death sentence .. after all they are killing a living being which they cannot even think of incarnating.

The Govt should also take up measures to support the cause.

I pray that we are successful in our mission…. remember… “sher-khan” was the main character of the Rudyard Kipling story “jungle book” .. and “sher-khan” was a ROYAL BENGAL TIGER !!

C’MON PEOPLE WE CAN DO IT !!

  45. AJ says:

Hi, just an idea but I think those “save the tiger” t-shirts owuld really sell. How bout putting them up to buy with proceeds going to WWF to suppor the cause? If WWF is already doing this can you put the link on your page?

  46. Deepa says:

    Hi,

Please save the Indian animals, not only Tiger but others too…

and please tell me aur us where and how we can help to save these Animals

  47. Ami Bhayani says:

why should we rely on people….If they were to do somethin for our national animal, they would have not come to an end at this time….
People who care are already aware and selfish locality in India don’t even know what is the importance of tigers…
People are aware and panic about the future situation….
Now i feel there is no sense in informing the number of tigers left…..
they know and seek someone to inform them the ways to protect tigers….
Our government is not at all going to do anything but we youngsters can do miracles….
Organisations have really helped people know what is going on in India and what is the situation of the animal that is representing india all over world…!
Life will be so stupid if future generation will ask us ,”hey what is a tiger..? what does it mean..??how does it look..??
and we will answer,”tiger used to be our prestige and our national animal..???
    How weird it sounds.
Please please please please please please save tigers n give us some opinion or measure..

save tigers - save our nation’s prestige..??
